Tachometer Gauge Installation
GlowShift’s Black 7 Color Series 3 3/4 Inch On-Dash Tachometer can be mounted on your dashboard or essentially anywhere inside your vehicle with the included pedestal. Connections are made using the tachometer gauge wiring provided. The included 2’ power and signal wire can be attached to either the negative side of your coil, your tachometer test port, or to a tach adapter. Please note that a tachometer signal filter may be needed to complete your installation. For vehicle specific installation questions please contact our technical support department. The included wiring is also completely Plug and Play, and securely snaps into the back of the gauge with the featured modular connectors. The goal is to give you the best tachometer gauge for your vehicle, and a seamless installation is part of that process. Instructions are also provided that will walk you through the entire installation step-by-step.

Red LED Shift Light
This dashboard tachometer features a Shift Light that will illuminate red whenever the set shift point RPM is reached. A Shift Light Knob is included which makes it extremely easy to set the light. To set the shift point, press and hold the “set” button on the gauge face for 5 seconds until the needle displays the current set shift point. Press the “set” button to increase the RPM setting and press the “color” button to decrease the RPM setting.

Note: Our tachometers are only designed for a gasoline, single coil application. For multiple coil applications, the use of a multiple coil or aftermarket ignition system adapter is required. Vehicles equipped with High Energy Ignition Systems (HEI) will require GlowShift’s HEI Signal Filter.
